The generator loaded gas (TG) expanders convert shaft power into electrical energy, which is returned to the electrical grid. A large range of cold production, pressure and flows are available from the TG120, from 75kW to the TG600 up to 6MW.

Typical Application

TG Gas Turbine apply for Industrial Gas Industry (Air separation) to provide refrigeration and recover electricity

Oil and Gas Industry: Natural gas treatment (dew point control, ethanol recovery, LNG production, NGL and LPG recovery)

Petrochemical Plant for refrigeration (Ethylene and amonia / urea plants).

Energy and recovery: Pressure Let Down stations, Geothermal Kalina, ORC cycles.

 

Usual Gases Handled
Air, Nitrogen, or waste gas from air with high oxygen content possibility (Sour) Natural Gas, H2 & CH4 mixtures, LNG, NGL, LPG.
Cryostar can accept high liquid content at outlet due to its unique expander design experience.
